Can cut-price perfumes smell like your designer scent?
The Daily Mail recently wrote the article “They look the same but can cut-price perfumes ever smell like your designer scent?” And this article featured Nirvana Spa at Home’s very own nSpa Orient Eau de Toilette. The verdict was that it’s similar to Armani Code for Women… how fantastic! An extract from the article is below.
Armani Code For Women (£56.50, 50ml): The orange smell comes through first and then you get star anise and olive blossom.
nSpa Orient (£8, 50ml): This fragrance has citrus notes of orange and orange flower — but not much else. While it is similar to the other one, it’s just less sophisticated and robust.
Verdict: They are incredibly similar. I’m not sure a casual shopper would be able to tell them apart — particularly if they were just spraying quickly and buying based on first smell.
